Bird For Sale Policy

We are located in South Florida and can often deliver the birds within reasonable distance at no cost or for a fair gas and time fee. Otherwise we can ship Delta Pet Cargo to your nearest airport at a flat fee of $120 since that seems to be the average. Payments must be by cash, personal check or Paypal only. Payment must be received and cleared prior to shipping. Upon notification of payment, we will arrange shipping with Delta airlines if required and you be instructed on what to do if you are not familiar with receiving live birds. We do not ship through USPS as it is illegal to ship even a lovebird. If their laws change then maybe we can try it again. We have never had a problem with shipping through Delta Pet Cargo other than the typical airline delays. We will accommodate a shipping date and time based on both of our abilities or schedule. No out of the country shipping and believe me we won't fall for the Nigerian check scammers.

As a general rule, we don't allow any visitors to come see the aviary for health and security reasons. Even if you are local. We always email buyers actual pictures of the birds prior to shipping, local meeting, or delivery to avoid any misunderstanding. Please note that a birds true coloring often does not show in pictures depending on the lighting, specially in the violet gene when the birds are young. Buyer must be informed of the species and mutation that they are purchasing (specially lovebirds) otherwise feel free to ask me any questions.

Prices are based on species, mutation, quality, and basic supply and demand rules. We do our best to stay informed with the market and try to be fair on the prices. We do not wholesale. We have seen lovebirds for sale at as low as eight dollars but we have also seen them at over a thousand dollars. We advise potential pet buyers to be informed on whatever species they want otherwise please just ask since there's a lot of confusing data on the internet. We can guesstimate the sex on lovebirds with a high accuracy based on experience but we do not DNA sex any lovebirds mainly due to the cost involved. We do generally DNA most of out bigger species.
